I have a 1986 GXL and when I start the car it runs fine, but it will spontaneously hesitate, it also does it upon acceleration. It's only for a few seconds, but it does it quite frequently. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what the problem may be??? I have changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, will be changing my MAF Meter as well as injectors within the week. Do you all think that either of those could be causing this problem? Thanks for your help!!!

 

Could very well be the injectors. Could also be your TPS(Throttle Position Sensor). Do a search for TPS adjustment, and you will find tons of writeups on how to adjust your TPS.
