More tilt from tilt wheel

Ok... I know some of you think the tilt wheel is a joke in these cars. I recently drove a friends MR2 and found the tilt wheel actually moves up like ... 80feet incomparison to the FC's 3 inches. Does anyone know of a way to have the tilt wheel tilt more?

I currently have my dash off. I think you could bend the mount that the tilt is on to increase the tilt up more. I plan on doing this but not for a while.

I'm 6'4. You apparently are not
It's not terrible, but if I were comfort driving I'd need it higher. When I blew out my right ankle though I had to bring my whole leg up and down for gas and brake... I hated the tilt wheel then. But aside from that week I don't mind it too often.

At least your wheel tilts! I've got an airbag in my S5 'vert, and I tell you, that wheel is RIGHT IN THE WAY.

You really need to go aftermarket steering wheel with a spacer.
I'm 6'1", and I run a MOMO Race with custom 1.5" spacer.
Things are comfortable.
There are larger spacers out there, and getting a "D" shaped steering wheel will help with leg clearance.
