just recieved the guage holder... i got the one with guages on the top and stereo on the bottom...

i guess i interpretted the it will fit "single DIN stereo" somewhat different, the stereo opening is quite a bit bigger then my aftermarket sony stereo which is roughly 1 3/4 inch tall by 6 3/4 inch wide... (roughly) so the opening for the stereo is somewhat bigger then i expected...

the bends on this thing are crazy... i can't even imagine how one would start making something like this... VERY VERY NICE indeed

heres a tip... watch out for sharp edges... i cut my thumb by accident on a sharp edge... i'm going to take my dremel out with a cutting wheel and take out the sharp edges.

then go and get it powder coated black.

What would have to be done to make this fit into a S5 that had the factory CD player?

You must buy a kit from like Best Buy or Curcuit City for the RX-7 that has 2 small filler peices that will fill the gap to the left and right if the panel.

Yes given it did not com from the factory with a CD player. If it did and you dont want to add plastic stuff go to your local junk yard and get a surround that has the spacers built in.

Is it possible to make one with a spot cut out for a SAFC or AVCR? I have a SAFC mounted on my dash and now I wanna get the AVC-R but cannot find a nice place to put it. Well just an idea.
