more exhaust questions

so i need new exhaust for my n/a but have some problems.
most of the one's i find aftermarket are for t2's.
and will the apexi n1 evo bolt up to the downpipe?
i need one that does because the previous owner had it welded from cat back so i can't just get a cat back.
anyways looking to pick one up this month seeing as how i'm getting ever so closer to the expiration date on my temp plates.
any info, ideas, advice and such would be greatly appreciated.

im almost positive it bolts to the cat. In your case since it was welded by previous owner, you MAY be better off getting the muffler you like (apexi, hks ect) and having an exhust shop build you an exhaust system. Or you can buy a cat and then it should bolt up depending on where it was welded

From there you can get a exhaust piece that goes from the manifold to the catback, and then pair it with any catback you feel like.

Just replace the cat with a "pre-silencer" or new catalytic converter and bolt up a cat-back...

all sounds good, might hit up a muffler shop next weekend.
do any or all aftermarket exhaust systems support the a.i.r. pump inlet?
or is that something i would have to remove/take to muffler shop to custom mount?

yes, the racing beat presilencer has the inlet for the air pump "split air pipe". If you get a new cat, which I recommend, it will also have it. Here are some websites for you:
