More 89 to 88 engine questions...

Thanx for the previous answers rx7nub & Icemark...

The engine I'm looking at is an 89, complete with ECU & harness... How much spaghetti-sorting will be involved even though I have everything needed?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I just want to have a pretty good idea of what's going on before I end up with a pile of parts in the for sale section!

Thanx!!!

You'll have to get the ECU too, unless you're planning on swapping the OMP.

Spaghetti-sorting? Anyway, here's what you have to do:
Swap injectors, rig up the s4 TPS, swap the alternator unless you wire your harness for the s5 one (it outputs more amps), block off the oil metering pump (or swap front covers and then put a s4 TB on there so you have the linkage for the mechanical), run your s4 harness & s4 injectors, going to have to rig up the VDI & 6 ports as the actuators won't work anymore.
