Monster Vintage Air efan does not fit!

FYI, a lot of us guys who are running t04 turbos and cannot use the stock fan shroud must use a efan. Anyways the 3300 cfm monster fan from Vintage Air with there universal shroud does not fit the stock or koyo raditators. The dimmentions would make you think it fits but the bottom of the shroud gets caught up on the heater core hose. However this setup will work on a larger Mazda comp or griffin universal rads but as well all know you have to run some different hoses to make it connect correctly.

Hope this saves someone from buying this and having to send it back.

I ran into a similar problem with the dual Mystique/Contour fan Im using.

I had to cut the lower fitting and rotate it (koyo rad) so the small line on the lower inlet was at a 45 degree angle, as opposed to straight up.

This might be a fix - but of course - you'd need to be using an aluminum rad...the plastic inlets may not take to kindly to being cut and glued back together hehe.

Yeah I was going to cut the top and bottom fitting of my griffin rad to fit correctly to the stock fittings but I am more intrested in just getting this **** box up and tuned on the dyno. I will not be suprised if around 400 rwhp will get me more into this car again.
