Mmm I love fresh paint....PIX!

Just got it back from a friend who did all the body work and paint, not too shabby I must admit...I have the ShineAutoProject front bumper and their sideskirts. The bumper is being fixed..since it was sent to me with cracks and the side skirts are going to be put on went we get the bumper done. Also still need to attach the side moldings and Put my new windshield in too. There alot of things I still need to finish o well. The color is called Royal Maroon Metallic paint code 3A I believe and it is a factory color too!

After some body work and on the way to the shop

Looks gorgeous. I would like it even more if the hood was painted to match. Not a big fan of the carbon fibre look. But either way, that car looks great.

I second both the colour keyed hatch (looks ****** sweet imo) and the comment about colour matching the hood. I also dont like the black hood design (whether it be carbon fiber or not). Very nice car tho

I like the bare CF. I had one on my Sileighty and it gave it "definition" to the front end. RX-7s are sorta bland in the front so the CF helps it in my opinion. I would leave the hood CF and bumper/hight covers red. I repainted mine blue a couple weeks ago and I neglected to paint the hatch due to laziness so I need to paint it too. My sunroof as well.
