Missing part
Missing part
I am not sure if I am missing the "IGN Relay" or the "EX-Hi relay" for my heater blower, previous owner threw it out after the harness caught on fire. The harness that is suppose to hook up to it, has 4 wires, red with yello strip, blue with white strip, blue with white strip and I think a yellow(this one totally melted off) I think this is the Ex-Hi relay that is missing adn I am hoping this is why my blower isn't working right too.
Any one know which one I am missing?

What year is your RX-7? Have you checked any of the wiring diagrams which are available online? I'd check mine for you right now but I am freakin' exhausted and just came in from working on my car, so do a little searching and you'll find the answer, or someone else will post it, or when I return and check this thread after I get some rest I'll go look in my manual. I can only help if its an S5 (89-91, read the FAQ in this forum if you aren't familiar with these designations), S4's I don't have the manual for.
That be the air conditioning Main Relay the dummy threw away.
That sucker is located up front to the left, in front of the radiator along with a few other relays.

Thanks for diagram, that helps, I have this diagram, but I couldn't read it, it was a bad scan, I will check tomorrow but I think it is the Ex-HI relay, the one I am missing is right down by my the heater blower, all on the same wiring as the heater relay.
I have a FC (87 GX)
Where is the IGN Relay located?
Is the blower resistor and power transistor the two that are attached to the top, back of the blower box?

My mistake:
I'll take a look tomorrw .....maybe. This jpg and others are not all encompassing when it comes to the heater/air cond. I failed miserably several years ago at fixing my low fan speed. I changed everything but what was needed. I finally bought the fan housing and it all worked ok since. It was my misunderstanding where and what the Power Resistor and the Blower Resistor were. It was the Power Resistor that was bad on mine. Mounted on the top of the box/housing. I know your problem is another thing though.
