Missing coolant.

My guess is my seals are going but i pulled the cap and didnt see any bubbles. I can smell antifreeze, and i didnt notice any coolant leaking outside of the car. Im thinking about getting some stop leak for a band aid fix. I just spent a good chunk of money on exhaust and im looking to get another vert for a parts car and another mildly ported 6port in the next few weeks/months.

Any thoughts? car runs great and no white smoke.

Do not use stop leak! It will gunk up your whole cooling system.

Take it to an auto shop and have them pressure-test the system.

I agree, don't use the stop leak its nasty. My M3 had a similar problem of smelling coolant and I couldn't see any under the car or on anything. It turned out that the water pump was leaking really slowly and the water was evaporating out from the heat and leaving some dirty residue under the pump where I couldn't see.

If your looking to band-aid it, just keep topping it off if you aren't going to fix it.

Yeah im just gonna keep a jug in the trunk and check it, had my add coolant light/alarm go off and it was annoying the **** out of me lmao. Idk maybe its just puking out of the weep hole on the pump (i hope lol). I was kinda skeptic about using stop leak anyway, id rather use an egg than that stuff honestly.

Anyways.... to jack my own thread i got a corksport header on the way im just confused on what to bolt behind it. Video's dont do me any justice on sound, i dont mind single or duals, not looking to spend more than 300 on a catback... and it must be stainless. I was really interested in the obx-r single hiroshima cat back and all i need to do it make a small test pipe (i have a welder and such so no biggie)....
