Missing Blots, Nuts, etc..

I searched around the fourm a little bit but didnt find what i was looking for, but does anyone know where i can get a lot of the bolts and screws and nuts and things that were used on the 87 rx7. Because i am just missing a bunch of random screw on the interior, and the top of the air filter cant be bolted down because i am missing all those screws, so can some help me out and tell me where i can buy all the bolts and screw and such that were used on the 87 rx7? thanks for the help.

alot of the Bolts, are 10mm and the Screw are the Same thread..you can check the "Master list of thread sizes for Sec gen nuts and Bolts"(name of a thread..use search)..Or another thing is to go to a Parts store or a "fastener type" store and bring a Bolt,Nut etc with you,and match them up..Remember though, that you are dealing in Metric,so Be careful(no standard thread)....alot of guys just hit the Junkyards and Pocket what they Need!!..haha!,,ME?,I just part a couple cars, and Take everything that has a Head on it!

If you can't find it at the junkyard I'd go to the dealership. It's a crapshoot there. Sometimes it's cheap and reasonable and others it's "WTF how can it cost that much?!?", but you can get most parts there. You can find stuff at OSH or Home Depot as well, but it's a lot easier to take the bolt/nut/screw/stud down there and size it out which if you are missing said part makes it a pain.

Sorry to be pedantic but the most common bolt size would be 6mm (which has a 10mm head).
Ace Hardware carries a pretty good selection of standard metric stuff- a lot of it in stainless.
Junkyards are a treasure trove of metric hardware, most of it is completely generic and not model specific. Honda seems especially fond of flanged heads on their bolts which is handy for eliminating washers.

As far as the "missing blots" go...you're on your own.

You'll find common bolt sizes in the Archive.

Then, just go to your local fastener store. They will have everything you need including the black oxide style interior screws.
