misc. questions

can an 86 gxl with full intake , exhaust and lightened flywheel beat a civic si on the highway? jut curious as to what kind of hp gains ill be looking at if i modified the rx7 im lookin to buy.

is it possible to swap in a motor from a 90 rx7 into an 86 without much trouble? what would needed to be changed? ecu? wiring harness?

My first guess would be yes. I believe an RX-7 with full exhaust and intake could beat an Si. And on the engine do u have a parts car to get the engine out of? Is your engine getting old? If neither of these apply I would go against an engine swap. But why not just rebuild your own engine if its got some miles on it. While your at it you could put a nice little street port on it and not worry about beating an Si.

wronggggggggggggggggg.. if u ask me.. maybe on take off u would take tha SI.. but on high end they beat n/a's that are barely stock...u need a little bit more than intake exhaust flywheel
