mis-adjusted TPS cause injector from working
88 turboII
Adjust the tps at one volt the car runs on one injector. Adjust tps to 1.6 volts the cars idles on both primary injectors. I can hear "a" injector click while adjusting the TPS. (engine off) Also have the 4000rpm injector problem no matter where the tps is adjusted to. The AFM is good. checked grounds-seem ok.
The car was a hack job from another shop. They used vacuum line for fuel line, had the AFM on backwards. crazy stuff like that. Everything seems to be working right.
thanks

The Relief solenoid will click when setting the TPS and I believe the Switching solenoid will as well so this may be the clicking you hear. The secondary injectors only come on line at close to 4000 rpm. The secondary injectors will also only work if the car is under load. You can determine at the ECU via an LED light if the injectors, both primary and secondary, are being sent the firing signal or not. Whether the injector plugs are hooked up properly is another matter.
