Question mileage changed...for the worse

I just replaced the engine in my 87 turbo and the milage seems to have dropped off by like ~4-5 mpg. I have a RB full race exhaust, FCD, k&N drop in, I have a walbro waiting to go in and get rewired. New plugs. Um...silicone. 'bout it for the engine. The car idels high like 1200 (hopefully a simple fix this weeekend). ANy Ideas. Like I say. I just got the car back like 4-5 days ago. My milage just seems to have gotten worse. Any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks dudes

Mm...if it's a full rebuild, that may be why.. Are the injectors new or cleaned? If not, you should probably do that.

How many miles on the new engine? Fresh rebuilds are sometimes a bit weak, and get shitty mileage, until breakin is complete. Wait about a month and see if it doesnt come up on its own.
