Exclamation Might have found a good deal!!

Ok theres this 86 that this guy has sitting in his yard. I asked how much he says $200. I say: whats wrong with it? His reply: Coils are no good... . I already know that the coils are quite expensive... but I want to make this like a streetable race car, being autocross, roadrally and i'm thinking about club races if its possible. I have first gen exp and really dont want to race my 79 hard being its the first 7... Well do you guys think its do able, even if persay its has a blown motor being the worse, I kinda have more confidence being on that car to do a rebuild/transplant. If all works out i'll even road legal it, and make it more like a once a while car just to keep cost down ya know?.. alright I just wanna hear what you would say about it, sorry so long, you guys and gals are great! It is very rare to actually have the coils be bad.

Its probably flooded, or has a damaged ECU, before the coils would be bad.
