Miata/MX5 Diff swap

i found a 1990 mx-5, will this diff work for my 89 N/A??

and also do any of you know of a website that has step by step of what to do, this is my only car and dont want to mess it up!!!

Regardless of what year you would have to swap out the internals into the rx-7 diff case and keep the rx-7 ring gear. There is a writeup for the miata torsen diff in the archives.

the early miata diff's were also very weak. they only have a 6" ring gear and wont stand much abuse.
