Miami has lots of T2s that are JUNK....

This was a funny weekend, I drove 500 miles to look at 2 T2s.. Both were Street ported, Injectors... the works....

But total crap these cars were....The first car was $4300, oil all over the outside of the turbo, The owner told me this is normal to have oil all over a T2 turbo...anways... it got better.. The engine was coated wih oil and grease.. supposed to have 2000 of fresh rebuilt.. the car ran like crap..hit 15 psi and no pull... My MP3 pulled harder...LOL

The next was at the street races in Miami....Lame scene down there... This T2 was nice looking,,, had a Junkyard engine, he was asking $4800.. Street ported.. the fuynny part was it had writting from the junkyard on it, the tells me oh yeah those are JDM parts I laugh... I have JDM parts tooo, but mine came from Cophers U Pull it... LOL

We had a nice ride got to hang in the racing scene in Miami... we left after someone started shooting... it was a waste of a night, but was funny and worth the laughs...

Sorry your experience was not a good one, but don't let those poor owners reflect what is down here. There are quite a few very decent T2s here.

You should have seen this one in Orlando.. $4000 all it had was a new engine... Needed Paint, Suspension was trashed. Diff mount was broken.. the guy said he didn't drive the car broken like this. The diff mount was broken before the rebuild and the rebuild has 2000 miles on it... I wonder how he drove it... Cough.. Bullshit..cough..

Sparks were flying under the ghetto air box mod... and he was dead set on $4000.

I thanked him for his time, told him his car was worth $5000 and left..,

How dissapointing.. I thought the Miami racing scene was supposed to be hot and jumpin'. I've always wanted to go down there and get involved with the heavy hitters, or so I thought. Guess I better stick to Cali. for the real deal eh? But at least there are pretty beaches and even better looking ladies....

I'm a T2.

I have been looking in the bargain news every week for over a year. I saw one s5 turbo rx7 in that entire time, and I think it may have been blown. S4 turbo rx7s are in the bargain news almost every week, usually blown or modded out. The latest one in there is 10 grand with a haltech amungst other mods.

Man, maybe I should sell my TII.......it's in mint condition, no oil on the engine or turbo, interior mint, new susspension, and runs great for $8,500.00............j/k I would never sell it......unless some had cash and was willing to spend a lot

Hey at least you guys have T2's for sale in your area. Me and my friend Saw a 87 N/A for sale in the paper, and thought we were halucinating. I saw my first T2 with my own eyes ever on monday. I've been obsessed with 7's for about 6 months now too.
