Has any one figured out how to stop it from rattling... freaking thing is driving me nuts. Getting ready to rip it out an toss it off a bridge. Let me know if any one has fixed this problem

 

Fill the transmission with fluid as per their instructions?

when you put in the inner spacer was it tight or could you move it around? the spacer im referring to is the piece that the shifter bushings sit on top of. When I put my c’s shifter in it rattled. i found that my inner spacer was not very tight and could move left to right up and down. I put some gasket sealant around it so it wouldn’t rattle and now it doesnt.
