All I can say useing the S5 gauges on my S4 and it works perfect (other than no actual temp markings).

Lightbulb Innacurate stock water tempeture readings!

I'm really interested in finding out more about this sensor vs gauge deal. I havent found much conclusive using the search function, and I dont think its really on this topic, sooooo its new thread time!
