maybe coolant seals

so i posted my problem and everyone said it was my coolant seals but i did what it says in the FAQ to check if they are bad, and nothing happend when i did it and the only time my car gets hot is when im driving/shifting at 4000rpm or more and it just is getting really hot and it smells hot too so im not sure if its my coolant seals or not is there any other thing that may be making that happen?

Bad radiator could cause overheating problems.

The radiator could be dirty. If it's never been done it wouldn't be a bad idea to pull it and take to radiator shop to be cleaned. But I agree with the belt slipping too. I would check both of those.
