Maybe buying a 1990 GTU

Well, I have a 87 base model right now (no sunroof, no P/S, no power anything). Anyways I work at a Nissan dealership and we just got a very nice looking 90 GTU the other day. Question is, which is faster? Because the GTU is a heavier car, but more ponies. So which is faster and better for Auto-x, drift, etc? (both wouldnt be stock though) Should I keep my base or get the 90 GTU?

id say the base is better. Its lighter and the 14 extra hp dont really help. The lighter S4 will have better handling and u can add the other stuff like bigger brakes and stuff.

I kinda figured that. Just that the GTU is in a lot better condition than my base (exterior wise, engine wise is about the same).

IF it's cheap enough, who cares which is faster. Keep the base to raise hell in and race (and modify farther) and use the s5 as a daily driver (they tend to be much nicer than s4's on average, and more of the electronics work properly).
