Some info:
The pulsation damper's purpose is to act as a hydraulic shock absorber. It soaks up the pressure increases that occur when the fuel flow is suddenly stopped by an injector closing.
On an NA, it's on the front end of the primary (lower) fuel rail. You can just see it below,behind,beside the alternator.

another thing, on series 4 they have a bolt for unknown reasons that can fall out, leak and catch fire to the engine. S5 no bolt, but some take the screw out and loctite it I think. (mine's s4 but with s5 fuel rail and block)

that screw fell out of mine and i have had no leak, been driving like that for 10k plus...
what are pulseation dampners where are they and what do they do .thanks
