I have the ubiquitous 14" phone dials on my 86 N/A. New wheels are steep and they're radar gun magnets. I've got the stealthy silver color already so sticking with the no frills 14" helps to keep unwanted attention away but with 185 70R 14 tires there is a considerable amount of grip to be desired. Does anyone know what the widest width of tire that could be put on to those wheels? It seems like you should be able to put on at least a set of 195's, 205 would be nice but i'm just an enthusiast so i don't know how wide i can go with the stock wheel width.

 

195 will fit for sure..205 will probably be the widest you'll be able to fit
