Max RPM on a stock TII engine?

What is the maximum RPM a stock engine would handle for a short period of time? (i.e. missed shift)

at around 8500 you risk stuff flying apart... the stock rev limiter on a turbo is around 8000. and with stock ports there is really no need to go over 7000 or so.
