max power from stock tII

I tried searchin but had no luck and i was just wondering whats the most power you can achieve with stock internals out of a tII engine, with bolt on s and all that good stuff....? And would it be a wise investment to get a stand alone ecu to properly tune it...?

if you have that much money, get a bridgeported motor with upgraded internals.
In other news.. there's a guy with a FD that has a 850 RWHP daily driver with (I think) stock internals.
And yes, standalone would be necessary.

Standalone is the single most important thing for creating a high performance/somewhat reliable rotary. Don't get me wrong mods to help it breath and keep it cool are very important. But you will never get the full performance out of any mod with out the flexibility you get out of a standalone.

You won't get it without a good AFM
Or a good intake
Or smooth air passage
Or right timing.
Or free-flowing exhaust
Or the right size turbo
Or the right size wastegate (if it be external)

You don't have enough to upgrade your turbo, you're limited to no more than 250bhp

So far I have squeezed 347.5 out of a stock S4 motor, but I dont think its done yet. I need to get some more dyno time.
