Max boost on stock injectors?

I'm thinking about raising my boost a smidge with a manual boost controller www.dawesdevices.com/boost.html until I upgrade to an additional injector controlled by a Haltech F5 AIC. www.haltech.com/Products/ECUs/F5/f5.html

I have Autometer boost and A/F ratio guages now, but when the car is off, the needle on the boost guage rests on the line that would indicate "2" on the vacuum side. I went for a spin today and didn't see anything higher than 7-7.5 psi indicated.

On a side note, when I first got my rebuilt hybrid back and installed last March the guage would sometimes read as high as 9-10psi - (I have no idea why it's only reading 7-7.5 now even though the acceleration hasn't changed - I suspect the guage is off)

One of the things I will be doing is having my mechanic hook up a boost guage to see what I'm actually boosting now, and then ideally, we would go from there and install the manual boost controller.

There's a guy at my new job that has an S2000 running 13.7's (so he says) and I want to ensure that I pull him, that, plus I'd just like a little more power.

Can I run 10psi on stock injectors? or should I dial it for 9 or what? See sig for mods (I have a Walbro now, for example. Also I do have a ported wastegate)

The stock turbo will be good @10psi with the stock injectors and the walbro. BUT, your turbo isn't stock. I wouldn't mess around so I'd get some 720cc secondaries to be sure. With a stage 4 from www.bnrsupercars.com you're supposed to need 4 720s and an upgraded pump. Bottom line is your car will be different than someone else's and you need to get a wideband O2 sensor to tell for sure.

I run up to 10 PSI and I'm fine with stock injectors. Make sure yours are clean though. I blew my last engine because they weren't. Clean as in, professionally cleaned..

Is that 10psi on an upgraded turbo or stock?
