master and slave cylinder...

master and slave cylinder...

is this a time consuming/hard job? do i need to drop the tranny to do it?

Im guessing your talking about the clutch master and the clutch slave. No, its not too hard.

Slave cyl uses 2 bolts to bolt it to the tranny
clutch master is 2 bolts and the rod that connects to the pedal assembley
use line wrenches where needed, and bleed properly after

Dont you like it when people just say search.... No its very easy the slave is easy to get to if you look on top of the tranny from the engine compartment. the master is on the firewall you you have to get to the bolts from the inside by the clutch and brake peddles and then make sure you bleed the system..I think it took me a total of 1 hour...good luck..Dan
