Master Cylinder

Is there a difference between the master cylinder on fcs with 4 piston calipers and the ones with 2 piston calipers? I'm guessing there is but i just want to make sure.

Basicall, my master cylinder(mine is a TII) leaks out all of the brake fluid and i was thinking of swapping it for one i saw at the junkyard(on an N/A). If not i'll just have to look harder and find a different one or try and fix my own one.

The TII master cylinder and booster are different from the NA cars that have the single-piston calipers. However, be careful because some NA cars came with the 4-pot calipers and I'm not sure which MC they had. The MCs look a bit different so you should be able to tell by eyeballing the MC on any junk car of the same vintage.

Buy a rebuilt from the autoparts store. Why replace one bad master cylinder with another used tired wornout one from the junk yard.

yeah i think i'll need to replace the booster too because it got brake fluid all over it and you know how that is... So steal the booster off the one at the junkyard and just buy a new mc?
