I had a crazy idea and put some in my spare, and the nose seemed to dip a little afterwards! Great aerodynamics now, yo!

So I had another crazy idea and rubbed some on my Rx-7 emblem on the back. I swear I got at least 5 more hp from that alone!

I like my metric system, eh? I don't have to deal with goddamn fractions. I wonder what that british dolt was smoking when he came up with the emperial system. It's not very practical.
Enough ranting!

Next size up would be 15/32

Most of the american tools go to x/32, so you'd get the current 14/32, and the next size up would be 15/32.

Don't have em all? I have a craftsman tool stand with a 8" deep drawer FULL of wrenches. I need to ******* seperate the metric/US tools...it's a bitch hunting for a 17mm wrench and finding nothing but 3/8 (1 step below your 7/16 ) and 1/2's it pisses me off.

Isn't MMO just really expensive ATF? I've just used ATF in the gas and in the Leading spark plug holes and it works great once every 10K or so. I have used MMO in my other vehicles and didn't notice any difference in power or mileage but with the ATF I did... so why buy expensive ATF with a fancy name?

hope this helps

The 12oz(labelled--gas treatment) should be added to fuel only. I believe that it is thinner than the regular 16oz. There is also a MMO (labelled--16oz supercharged fuel injector cleaner) which is also for the gas tank only.

So to prevent any confusion, just buy the 32oz(quart/liter) sized bottle or any of the larger sizes(up to 55 Gallons--MMO must've been smoking with the dolts).
The MMO we want is labelled: Marvel Mystery Oil/Lubricant/Protection/Add to Gas and Oil.

How much do you add to the oil?? I dunno. I like to add a little(shot) or top off the oil with it. It is a good detergent and I added a full quart/liter to the oil a couple of days before an oil change. The oil came out very dark. Because it is thin, I don't add a lot to the oil.

How much do you mix with the gas?? It depends if your OMP is working(or trusted). I have noticed no difference in spark plug color/condition after adding entire quart to full tank of gas. Because I am cheap, I only use 1/2 bottle per tank and have no problems.
So, use none, or as much as you want, and share your experience when the MMO question is asked again.

Are you sure that the smaller bottle is different?

Can someone please clarify. I used the 12oz in my oil. Other MMO threads said it was the same thing. (12oz or 32 oz)

Just want to find out for sure.

Thanks Kerry

I just added some MMO to my oil and gas this morning. It seems to rev a tad smoother, and when the fuel system got its first gulp of MMO, it almost killed the motor, but now it purr's like a kitten.

Manufacturer's recommendations:

I called the US distributer of MMO (Turtle Wax) and he confirmed that the 12oz size was the same product as the larger ones! Try http://www.marvelmysteryoil.com and see where it takes you, follow the links to performance products and finally Marvel. There you will see that the product numbers take the form: #MM012

I located the Material Safety Data Sheet and it also lists the product codes MM010 through MM018 as being the same chemical composition. The guy that handles the calls for Marvel and CD2 (Rich) said the reason for the different sizes and labels is more for marketing convenience and recommended 1 12oz bottle for 15-20 gal of gas or when used as an oil treatment at the ratio of 10-25% of the total oil change.

I added 12oz to the fuel and 12oz to the oil and I'd say that the engine has never run smoother (at idle or revin' up) and even when it's in the higher gears the engine pulls harder too!

will mmo cause smoking??

For all of you that have used mmo for a while, has it ever made your rx smoke when used in heavy doses??

I think I finally blew my oil seals recently, judging by the rediculous amounts of smoke it generates while driving. But I added mmo that same day, a double dose, a 12oz bottle to a half tank of gas. So I am wondering if it's possible that the mmo is causing/aggrivating the smoking problem.

I am pretty sure my oil seals were going anyway, it had all the signs, but wanted to make sure the mmo wasn't somehow causing the excessive smoke. (atf quantities)
