Question Marren Fuel Injectors - only one grommet?

I just removed my ORIGINAL 18-year-old fuel injectors and had 'em tested. Bad news--three of them were bad; one was leaking and bad spray pattern on another two, after cleaning.

So, I ordered four new injectors (Part # 0545NAL) from Marren Injectors at http://www.injector.com/fuelinjector...e57629d3091bcf and just got them today.
The Marren injectors are supposed to be drop-in replacements for the originals.

The Marren injectors were delivered with no grommets, so I got on the phone with them and they said they only had one grommet for their injector--the lower one. I don't want to reuse the old grommets because they are 18 years old and hard as a rock, but they won't fit the Marren injectors anyway because the corresponding parts of the injectors are slightly smaller than my original injectors.

FYI, my car is a stock 1986 GXL which I bought new. The original injectors are 450 cc/min. low impedance Denso 1350's. I checked resistance on both the old and new and all measured 3 ohms.

They guy I talked to at Marren seems to think I don't need the upper grommet--which I ain't buyin'.

Does anyone know anything about this? Any and all help greatly appreciated.
