problem- trans makes a knocking sound in all gears except 4th and neutral and only when accelerating. gets louder and faster rpms go up. can feel it threw bottom of shift ****.

time of problem- all of a sudden after stopping at a red light

any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Sounds like your synchros, whats the trans oil look like? And is it at proper level?

 

the fluid is fresh i changed the trans on it a few months ago, one that i bought off craigslist and now think i got jacked on.

 

Sounds like maybe a main bearing. It wouldn't do it in 4th because its a 1:1 gear.
