manual to power window info

i decided to post this because no one could answer my question of ALL the parts required to install stock power windows in a car that has manual windows... anyways, today i finally got around to putting in the power window stuff i have. the whole process is super easy. the parts you need are:

power window regulator with motor
both drivers side and passanger side switches
door panels from a power window car
Misc hardware such as the screws and clips that hold the doorpanel on the door (but you probably already have that!)
the door wiring harnesses with protective rubber boot(both sides)

and thats it. on my car i found out that the drivers side door had been replaced and it was missing the rubber boot and the harness. i found one on a parts car in the junk yard. on my passanger side it still had the original harness. i thought this was kind of wierd though because my car (87 SE) doesnt have anything electrical in the doors. the harness that was already there had all the connectors too, power windows, door panel light, power door lock. it was identical to the passanger side one i pulled from a S4 TII. to put them in all you do is:

remove door panel
remove window glass
remove manual regulator
bolt in power window regulator
hook up all connections
put new door panel on
repeat on opposite side

took me all of 45min to do my self with 2 cigarette breaks.

hope this helps for any one who wants to know EXACTLY what they need!
