manifold question

manifold question

i have a question, will the stock upper intake manifold for a na motor bolt onto the stock lower intake manifold for a turbo2. im talking about bolting on with out much if any fab work involved.

please forgive me, im a 1gen guy with big ideas.

It would most likely require port-matching and drilling new holes to match the mounting studs.

no it won't. N/A manifolds are wider than a TII's.

The NA manifold's wouldn't clear the turbo. Also they suck .

Stick with what you have.

im building a 1gen gslse, and i found someone is selling a side draft carb setup for a stock 6 port lower intake manifold. i want to turbo my car, and i would have liked to use a turbo lower intake manifold so i could clear the stock turbo without a spacer.


damn, looks like im gonna need a spacer.

turbo and n/a ports are ALL drastically different between any of the manifolds so not they won't bolt up between the LIM and UIM, not even with port matching as the bolt holes and ports are no where near the same. the LIM to the block can fit with some port matching but it is less than ideal.
