Making sure I did Compression Test right
So I have been having hot starting issues. I checked the compression, but I'm trying to make sure that I did everything right before I actually call the engine dead. I'm pretty sure that it is, but I'm holding on to the hope that I did something wrong.
This is what I did:
Warmed the Engine
Pulled off the filter and snorkel and held at WOT
Pulled the Lead plugs, and screwed in tester
Cranked engine with tester decompressed to watch pulses
Let the tester pump up to see total pressure.
I got a little over 30 on the pulses and 60 for a total on both rotors. The rear rotor seemed to pulse a little harder but was still pretty close to the front.
It doesn't seem like this is right?

Thats what I was thinking, The battery was pretty strong because I had driven it for about 40 minutes.
It at least runs still so it won't be a bad rebuild. Thanks J-rat.

Naw it's been sitting in my garage so it doesn't get driven much. I go out to charge the battery and thats about it.
It starts fine cold and will stay running no problem, but no chance to restart when hot so i have to be careful not to stall it. When it starts cold it sounds like a tractor and then smooths out. It sucks because I just got the injectors cleaned. Oh well they will be clean for when I rebuild it.
