Angry Major problem, help please!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres the deal, my cousin gave me his 89 RX-7, stock. He gave i to me cause he droppe from 5th to 1st by accident trying to stop fast due to stupid drivers in front of him. Anyways, the car obviously wicked revved. He was able to drive it home but it didnt havy much power. The next day it wouldnt start, everything turns I think but it doesnt seem to fire or anything, I just got the car and havnt checked the igition or anything yet. Any suggestions with it will be greatly appreciated.

First, do a compression test. Do a search for compression test to find instructions, or just ask me and Ill tell you. IF you confirm that your block internals are good, then we can work from there, but there isnt much to be screwed up as far as peripheral systems form overspinning, so you may very well have an internal failure.

More than likely you have a blown motor... dis-assembly or replacement is likely, but a compression test will tell you for sure.

BTW you may want to mention to your cousin, that the brakes generally work better than a rotary motor for slowing down
