hum.... check it out first but from experience a restore project is a bitch and if you can skip that then its worth it. however first check to mileage, how the car runs etc... but if he's taken real good care of that thing than most likely it will have a good engine however I wouldn't buy anything unless I looked and drove it first.

Im sorry I couldnt understand the bit about the PC or something. But $5000 for a nice restored TII that runs a 13.9 has a new clutch and intercooler is a decent price. Take it for a drive, see how it responds.

He is trying to rape you.
There is not "TURBO PC" and it is not PC it is ECU(Engine/emmissions control unit) he is trying to pull a fast one cuz your a new guy. There was no Turbo just a Turbo II or TII for short. It does not have Twin Turbos either it only has one STOCK. Read the FAQ thread and all the other STICKY threads on this page. Go to how stuffworks.com and search for rotary and you will find a great explenation of rotary engines.

if it's a restore cool, if it's a project car which it sounds like what it is, you may spend twice as long trying to figure out what they did in order to fix it as well, just something to keep in mind
