major oil loss

Recently my car's been losing a lot of oil, too the point where I put 2 bottles in when I fill up on gas. There's only a little oil under my car on the driveway. Can anyone give me hints on what to do and where to look?

when u start the car or rev it high does it produce blue smoke, if so your oil seals are on the way out and its burning oil, on the other hand it could be somthnig like a leak in the oil cooler line or somthnig too

To test if your burning oil. Make sure the car is at a normal temp "idle". Then rev it to 3500 rpms for 1 min. I'm having the same problem with my engine. It isnt burning oil rather my BNR turbo is. It could be the oil rings underneath the oil filter or banjo off one of the oil cooler lines. Hopefully it isnt a side seal.

Oil cooler lines, oil filter pedistal (2 o-rings), and the oil pan are very common oil leaks. I would check those first. Another one is the front of the engine. If you see oil on the fan or the hood, there is possibly a leak at the front mail seal or the front bolt o-ring.

Just because there is only a little bit of oil in your drive doesn't rule out any of these possible leaks.
