Major annoying issue i need help with

I got my 91 rx7 in january and got into an accident a month later. My driver side door got all fucked up and even though i could close it, the door light would stay on and constantly drain my battery... so i brought it in to fix the door, but the light still stayed on cuz the door wasn't connecting with that lil button down on the frame... i also replaced the battery cuz it was old... i later got that light problem resolved, but my my battery was still draining everytime i drove it. If I turn on my audio or my headlights or my wipers, it would drain even faster! Is this due to an electrical problem or the wrong battery? I wasn't sure how strong the original battery was but the one autozone gave me was like 550-575 cca. I brought the car to this import shop, and he told me i needed a bigger battery so I bought a yellowtop (650 cca) battery a month later... when i first drove it off, the metter was at about 16 volts, then continued to drop to the 12 line... haven't drove it since cuz i think its jus gonna drain out again, also cuz i jus recently replaced the radiator and the censor broke so that alarm is constantly on.

Does neone think they know what the problem could be? The alternator's been checked numerous times as well as the electrical wiring.... I can't figure it out....

*can neone tell me where to get a radiator censor?

*wut kind of battery am i supposed to have?

ne feedback would be appreciated

For the Radiator sensor, give Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge VA a call, and ask for Ray Crowe Awesome dude. I think it was around $12 or somewhere close.

Theres plenty of things that could be draining the system, and it is easy to trace it down! Just head over to Radio Shack and get yourself a cheep Multimiter. Then read the manual.

Then pull your engine fuses and test for a current draw at each terminal, and you will have narrowed it down to the subsystem. Just follow it through the system till you find the 'short.'
