maintaing the seals

I have heard that the most common part of the engine to go are the apex seals. First off is this true with the N/A's? If so i was wondering what could be done to prevent/fix this, thanks.

the most common thing to go on these cars is the owners...they go insane

Search removing your OMP/MOP and running premix

The best way to keep the rotors carbon free and the apex seals lubed is to run pre mix, keep fresh oil in it, and redline the car everyday

yea, basically redlining will clean the internals of carbon, but i dont know about everyday. Also, im sure theres a writeup in the archives somewhere about removing the omp.

For the thread starter, NA's tend to last longer, yet the apex seals will still go over time. But i would say pre-mixing is the best prevention.
