Magic fix for many electrical problems
After fixing cold solder joints, then use this:
I get this stuff at Home Depot.
I expect there are similar products elsewhere.
The 2-26 is for sliding contacts like the TPS, fan speed control, radio volume, & door lock switches.
The QD is for contacts like the window switches, various push buttons, connector plugs, & light switches.
WD40 is not intended for electrical switches & contacts.

Dielectric grease and the 2-26 stuff overlap some in application.
The 2-26 will get into places like the TPS, dielectric grease will stay in place better in weather exposed connector plugs.
