i have an s4 T2 and i was having some bucking under boost problems and some strange noises at idle...when i rev the engine my MAF box makes a sound almost like a super seqential blow of valve and it never made that sound before could it have went bad on me? how do i check to see if its no good?

 

i know it sounds like a newb question but i do know alot about these cars but ive never had somthing like this happen its very strange...its like the flap inside is messed up or somthing

 

bucking is prob due to bad grounds, and or fuel cut due to boost creep. the strange noise is called compressor surge. the bov is not venting, check and make sure you have the vacuum line in the top of it and none of the hose are cracked on the i/c piping
