MADS pix and story ;)
well this was my first road course event . i think i did pretty good after i found out my rear shocks were set wrong
the 500 mile drive with no radio and act race clutch sitting in 3+ hours of traffic also made the drive interesting. i learned alot about the car at the limit. i saw a bunch of people from the tristate area 2fast7s,gene, turborotor. we all had little problems that we resolved at the track 2fast7s had a ripped ic coupler, turborotor had failed leading coils, gene had a vacuum hose pop off. i was surprised that my TII never overheated the whole time on the track! the way home was *interesting* first low coolant sensor failed so for the first 2-3 hrs driving back all i heard was BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ after the second time we stopped for gas (turborotor)carlos figured out that if you ground out the connector it won't go off
i dozed off at like 1:30 am after driving for about 4 hrs and did this to my car after tapping a guard rail. looks time its time for a repaint

the driving school did help me from not wrecking the car completely as i just tapped the guard rail instead of smacking it full on! other than my mishap i had a good time. i plan on attending the september mads hopefully with my FD and i am gonna bring a codriver it is just too long of a drive for anyone to do alone!

the few pix i took are here http://www.vosko.net/photos/mads02/

This was the best thing I've ever done. I wish It was closer and more often.
Vosko gave everyone a scare. I didn't see it happen but i was shocked when Mani told me what he saw when we pulled over.
We need more walkie talkies. they came useful. Just need to get real batteries next time.
