lug nuts

lug nuts

is it safe to drive about 400 miles with 4 out of 5 lug nuts on the rear rim? one is stripped and i cant fix it till i get home would i be safe to drive on the freeway?

you can take 1 each wheel and it'll be fine still.

You should be fine as long as the others are tight. I was going 130mph one time when i remembered that i only had 3 lug nuts on each wheel. I quickly slowed down.

youll be fine. just make sure its torqued and dont try to do any 70mph drifts or anything.

so the stripped nut is still attatched? one method i discovered is to take a fat drill bit and drill right down the neugety center of the nut untill you can hammer it off. then just pull the rotor and tap the stud out and pop a new one in. if the hub is a bit stripped just spread a little JB weld in it.
