LSD rebuild

Well I was out tuning with BDC yesterday and got to really boost my car for the first time, when I would give it some heavy throttle the rear end would freak out, it felt like extreme wheel hop, which I don't think it was since we were on the highway.Once it slipped completly, like the clutches in the LSD were slipping.I got the LSD from a parts car, so I guess its possible it was worn and cant handle any real torque, but I'm suprised, these are usually really good rear ends. I have a NA pumpkin I can put on there, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience like that, and could the stiffened rear diff mount contribute to this? Oh yeah its a sport model LSD not a Turbo II

I've got the same Model and LSD about to undergo a supercharger implant. I wish you luck with your LSD. I'm might need to do the same soon. How much boost were you pushing when it gave way? Have you dynoed yet?

It was only on 6 pounds, it was the first time that it was getting real boost so we were starting slow, but any real torque it would just bang like crazy, no dyno yet, I am planning to when I get this issue worked out.
