LSD Questions for Convertible

I'm looking for good ways to wake up my 88 vert. I would love to get a GTUs 4.33 LSD complete, but the wife I haven't married hasn't had my first born to exchange for it.

I'm just open to suggestions for an LSD for my vert, preferably a 4.33, but I will take a 4.100. What options do I have under $300.

I would prefer NOT to mess with changing out the gears in a rear end, I don't have the skill or resources to do that easily or cheaply.

Thanks in advance.

You best bet if you don't want to rip a rear end apart is just to find a used diff from a 86-88 GXL or 88 GTU, if you can't find a rear end from a 89-90 GTUs model.

Used N/A rear ends are usually under $75 for a open rear end and $100 for a S4 LSD.

The 86 GXL is a S4 (1986 thru 1988 model) and came with a LSD.

about 1 inch.

The non turbo FCs used a 7 inch differential and only a few models had a LSD, while all the FC Turbos, FD's and FE's use a 8 inch differential that have a type of LSD (clutch pack, viscous, Torsen, etc).
