Did all the FC models come with a 4.1 LSD except for the convertable?

Only the following USA model 2nd gen RX-7s had a LSD from the factory:
86-88 GXL
87-91 T2
88 GTU
89-90 GTUs (however not the 89-90 GTU)

The 2nd Generation FAQ at the top of the forum has more information.

The 4.1 is preferred over the 3.9, generally. But the 4.3 is rarer, and will net better acceleration. Downside is it's hard to find, and if you're doing a lot of highway driving it might bring your revs up where you don't want them to be at for cruising speed.

Please read the FAQ for FC before posting. It coveres many of teh commonly asked questions such as the one this thread was started with.

In addition the Standard Fetures and Options sticky thread, also covers the same exact questions that this thread was started with.

Thread closed. Covered in the FAQ for FC and mutiple other places as well as in countless threads that should have been searched first.
