which lowering springs?

Ok so i have a 1991 convertible with koni adjustables on it. I am wondering which lowering springs to use. I was thinking of the R-SR , Tanabe Suspension Upgrade - Lowering Sport Spring - Grip Feeling SUSTEC - GF210 Springs for RX - 7 1986 - 1992 model, and tein s-tech. Can i lower my covnertible 1.5 inches with tanable without rubing the tires or do i need to use soemthing more like the 1 inch drop with the tein.?

I hear 1 inch is the sweet spot, the car is already pretty low as-is (even if it may not look like it)

have you tryed Racing Beat?

How much it drops, if it drops, depends on what you get for new vs how worn out the orig ones are. Some people have dropped, stayed the same or even had the car sit higher. My '91 Turbo dropped an inch on each corner from what it was with the Tanabe GF210. I get some rubbing up front with 225/50/16 tires on both the springs and the fender lip when I'm doing track events or back road drives driven like I was at a track. A '91 vert is a heavy car and depending on how you're going to drive it would be to me of more concern than how much it drops if it's just for appearance and not handling. Did that make sense? Anyway, let me know what you do, I'm thinking of putting something on my '88 Vert also.

i have an 88 vert with tein he coil overs. its pretty low ill try and take some pics to show you. the front tire is right at the fender line and dosent rubb at all. i have the stock bbs rims with factory size tires. i also have some 17,s that need tires and spacers cause they rub the springs. ill try and get pics tommorow for you.
