so i have bought another fc and after i changed the coolant and relocated the throttle cable(it was put together wrong) i started having rough idle in between 400-1000 rpm and finally the engine dies out.
so i turned the bac screw and it really did nothing, got the engine warm and took off the intercooler and started adjusting the tps. it showed about 0.82-0.88 K ohm so i need to get it to 1k ohm, but the adjustment screw really actually did pretty much nothing. i turned til the spring was fully together and fully open. maybe the engine cooled down too much? can i just block the fast idle sensor rod so its fully extended and try adjusting tps then?
do i have to check both tps sensors or only the full range?
the car is s5 t2 with n/a shortblock, secondary ports open, all emissions removed, it has driven about 600 kilometers after rebuild so i guess it hasnt idled normally even once.
i have read numerous threads about tps adjustment but most of them has a single sensor s4
any suggestions?
