I'm ordering new injectors tomorrow and my pigtails also need to be replaced (retarded previous owner *YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE* did a hack job on everything attached to the keg pretty much prior to selling to move the car fast)

460cc's in my s4 88 gxl...... Are these proper? Ev1 iirc. Did a quick search and got something to the effect of "oval purple 550" and that's not what i've got.

you may have to shave the keytab off of the injectors to get it to fit. this is only if the keytab is offset, if it's center mount they should work perfectly.

 

Worst case scenario, i sell them and source some on here.

Kinda pisses me off because i threw pretty much a good engine harness away. Town was gonna fine my *** if i didn't get rid of my parts car and in a rush, i didn't get to strip most of what i wanted off the car before my deadline.

 

Those look correct.

Note that you can get them at any good auto parts store, no ordering required...Make sure to get the nice WeatherPack sealed style.

 

The 88 injectors are the Bosch EV1 style connector but the locating tab on the bottom is offset, just like the connector for the BAC valve and the water thermosensor. So you will have to grind that tab off the bottom.

 

No biggie shaving plastic! Will do.


.....and thanks Aaron. I figured i'd just kill two birds with one stone and order my injectors and pigtails from the same place but they may be cheaper locally....i hope. I'll go check tomorrow.
