Low imp injectors @ 6.7ohms???? wtf

Well my car: 87 tii: microtech lt8, 60 trim w/.96 a/r, emissions removed, intake, exhaust, blah. Well I had start problems so I measured my primaries: 13ohms, and 20 ohms, wtf?? (btw they are low imp red top, checked part #) So switched them out for my secondaries (680cc gsl se @2.6ohms). And I had some 1600cc laying around so I put them in as secondaries. But them dudes measure @ 6.7ohms each. what the **** man. Is this normal? Because my microtech was running my primaries and they are 13 and 20? also turns out my car was really, really (REALLY) flooded with gas and oil. So thats why it didnt start. But can my microtech run these 1600's or what. LMK thx

6.7 is like right in between lo and hi, lol...

How well is the meter zeroed? And are you reading these out at the injectors themselves, or through the wiring? What's the microtech set up supposed to run, as far as impedances go?

Sounds like your injectors are dying. Take them the an Injector shop and ask them what they think. It will take them 15 seconds to diagnose them.

BTW RED top injectors are High impedance, Brown or TAN are low impedance. YOU have the wrong injectors in .

DAN is correct here, i have the red tops in my primarys and the brown/tan in the secondaries with inline resitors to raise the impedence on my 88TII

yea some guys were telling me that, but they look red to me, and the part numbers match the low impedance. reference from: rotaryresuurection.com

btw, this is resistance from the injectors themselves, from lead to lead directly on the injector

And the meter is zeroed, with a fresh battery? Those numbers just don't sound right...
