LOW ON GAS.... backfire!

Question LOW ON GAS.... backfire!

what happened ? i was low on gas and i was trying to get to the gas station in mid day traffic and i hit the gas pedal i guess a lil too much and it lost power then backfire popped! then was ok i jus took it a lil easier. so what exactly was that ?

you just exploded fuel off the exhaust manifold probably. Its normal..no biggie

Is exactly what you said backfire your setup shows exactly the reason it did that rx7s have the longest fire travel out the exhaust and with a header that ususally helps the ease of travel a little bit more. Its really nothing and im suprised it doesnt do that more

i think i shoot flames but backfiring the way i did reminded me of the time i blew the rear rotor so i was just scared and curious

No not really i have my stock exhaust on still (but i have a dunk sitting in my room hehe) and my backfire usually makes it to the mufflers but never out well when it does make it out the mufflers it pops like a shotgun ive had neighbors ask if i was alright so you know it happens...I understand what you mean now about the whole wondering if it was your rear rotor...
